This bracket allows easy installation of an aftermarket head unit. The profile matches the factory radio opening with a standard single DIN radio opening. There are two holes on the backside that can be drilled through to install accessories such as USB ports or buttons. Installation does require the rubber gasket from the factory radio.

You’ll see this same review on multiple products because I’ve redone my whole stereo system with Engineered adapters help! Amp mounting plate, single din radio adapter, wiring harness for aftermarket stereo, 6.5 inch speaker adapters and although I didn’t buy it from him the pac-swi r/c install with wiring help courtesy of Randy! Seriously made doing all of this almost idiot proof and my bike sounds so much better with my Polk speakers, fosgate amp and Kenwood Head unit. Thanks for all the help and great products! Well worth the $$$

Just finished the install on my 2014 vaquero with a kenwood radio Randy and engineered adapters helped me with everything and answered every question I had the new face plate is it perfect fit no issues the wiring plug was perfect the speaker adapters everything was a perfect fit I will be adding rear speakers and I will be coming back to engineer adapters for the rear speaker mounts and wiring Randy has done a very very good job and making everything looks completely stock

Great products and great service! Randy answered all my questions before purchase and made sure I had everything I needed for my custom install. Received my front 6.5″ fairing mounts. Very easy install. They look amazing. Took awhile to get them, but it was worth it. Just ordered the rear bag adapters a couple days ago so hopefully thise will be here quickly so I can get them installed as well.

This is an overpriced 3D printed plastic ring that does not even fit correctly. For $39.99 plus shipping, I expected a part that was actually designed to accept standard single DIN mounting hardware. Instead, the opening is undersized and will not allow the metal DIN cage to slide through.
The slot on the part I received measures approximately 2.02 inches tall, while the DIN cage requires closer to 2.06 inches to fit properly. That means the part has to be manually filed, sanded, or modified just to do the basic job it was sold for.
This is not a complex molded dash kit or a finished engineered adapter. It is a simple 3D printed frame, and at this price point there is no excuse for poor dimensional accuracy. Charging almost $40, then adding shipping on top, for a part that still needs hand-fitting is ridiculous.
The product should either be redesigned with proper clearance for standard DIN cages or clearly advertised as needing modification. As received, it is not ready to install and not worth the price. I would not recommend it.

We reached out to this customer to explain that the “cage” that comes with the aftermarket radio is NOT used in installation. The bike already has a cage that the factory radio mounts to and our installation uses that. Therefore the SingleDIN radio faceplate adapter only clears the radio chassis. It was intentionally made to ONLY clear the chassis and not the aftermarket radio sleeve. There is no way for that adapter to carry the weight of the radio and therefore we do not want anyone attempting to use the SingleDIN adapter as a mounting point – simply as an item to adapt the factory size and shape to fit a Single Din radio.
We also reached out to ask if they would prefer to change this review which is clearly based on incorrect assumptions by the customer. They have not replied after repeated attempts so we have decided to post this review as-is with this reply.
