SingleDIN Radio Adapter
Revision 2! We are proud to announce that we have redesigned our adapter plate and the face is now a one-piece design! The purchase of a larger printer allows us to fit this into the build volume and the redesigned plate is now even more robust than the original! We still include the spacers that fit between the back of the faceplate and the front of the factory mounting cage. It still includes the blind pockets on the rear that can be drilled through to add USB ports and now includes a lip to help retain the rubber gasket from the OEM radio.
We recommend our Wiring Harness Plug for installation as well as the PAC SWI-RC steering wheel interface (not sold here) to maintain your handlebar controls when installing an aftermarket head unit.
While Kawasaki added some great features on their stereo systems the factory head unit just doesn’t cut it when it comes to great sound. Engineered Adapters has made the installation of an aftermarket single-din radio easier with the SingleDIN radio adapter plate. This not only fills the gap left after removing the factory radio; it does so in style!
In addition, we’ve included 3/4″ pockets on the back which can be drilled through to install one or two USB ports! That’s right, if your radio has a rear USB you can now access it! If you’re looking to install a 5v USB power-port for charging your GPS, Cell phone or other usb-powered devices, the SingleDIN radio adapter plate can accommodate!
Engineered Adapters recommends the purchase of the PAC SWI-RC steering wheel interface controller so you won’t have to sacrifice your handlebar controls! That’s right, you can install an aftermarket stereo AND keep your handlebar controls!
If you’d like to install a 5V POWERED USB to charge/run a cellphone, GPS, etc, this will work (we are not affiliated with this seller or company but this is the one we installed.)
5V POWER USB
If your radio has a rear USB port that you’d like to access from the dash, this unit will work (we are not affiliated with this seller or company but this is the one we installed.)
